"Please let the owners know my wife Yolanda and I were very pleased with our accommodations and the quiet atmosphere of THE LOFT . We come to Corpus Christi every May to celebrate our anniversary. Usually we stay at one of the Ocean Drive Hotels. This year marks 38 years and we celebrated it at THE LOFT. Quite frankly my wife was skeptical when she learned I had booked THE LOFT. But after opening the door and seeing the accommodations she was won over. Our stay was great and it allowed us to relax and unwind. More important, we did not have to deal with the crush of other guests that comes with hotel vacations. Leaving on Saturday morning was de ja vu as we knew we had to return to Waco, but did not want to... mostly because we were relaxed and felt attached to the lofty quarters. So, we extended our stay several more hours with a lazy breakfast at the restaurant next to the BLUE FROG. We browsed the gift shop and bought some momentous to remember the trip.
One thing Yolanda asked me ... was where did the owners find the bed coverlet? She is very taken by the cover and would like to purchase some for her beds.
In closing please know our trip was made better by the stay at THE LOFT. We will try to be back next year... maybe we can capture the cottage then. "

"What a beautiful little getaway this weekend was. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I kept thinking on my way home all of the things that made it soooo great......there were just so many.
Tom and I do getaway "B & B's" twice a year and we never stay at the same place, but, the Loft may be an exception. It was just what the two of us needed.......leave work & family behind, get sleep, enjoy the quiet and of course the romance of it all. "

"The Loft is a comfy spot - easy access to everything. Lots of nice "extras" - the tums, the robes, even the snacks. Due to the "rainy" weather we even go to watch a couple of DVDs."

"We have had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The space was nice and quiet. The little extras like your movie selection and tea basket were the icing on the cake. The loft is beautifully decorated.
We thought the restaurant suggestions you made were great! We loved the BBQ at Santa Fe Station. We went to Snoopy's on our we back from Padre Island and watched the sunset. It was awesome.
We will definately be back if we are in this neck of the woods!"

We really enjoyed the surprise Anniversary Gift . . . . beautiful frame, chocolates, etc. It was a very nice touch.
We enjoyed the fresh muffins from Santa Fe Station and even tried their BBQ brisket one evening . . . very good. Padre Island and Mustang Island were very quiet this time of year . . . very nice for a relaxing stroll.
For future guests - we celebrated our night out at Katz 21 Steak and Spirits. It was upscale dining, excellent service and the food was superb! $$$

"From the decor to the location, amenities, hospitality, ambiance and personalized service, this will most certainly become the place to stay in Corpus Christi. Add sun, surf, shopping and seafood: who could ask for more?! My stay here surpassed that of any high-end resort. I loved it! (I might tell my friends - or I might try to keep this for myself!!)
